For everyone who’s not from Auburn, Mr. Penny was the crossing guard for Dean Road Elementary School. Even if you didn’t go to Dean Road, you still knew who he was. He waved and smiled at every single person who drove past him. It was impossible not to be instantly cheered up by this man.
